SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

Does Creuto follow a secure SDLC and OWASP practices?

Short answer

Yes. Creuto follows a secure software development lifecycle aligned with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 practices: threat modelling in discovery, secure coding to OWASP guidance, code review before merge, automated tests and dependency scanning in CI/CD, least-privilege infrastructure, and vulnerability assessment and penetration testing before major releases. Creuto does not claim certification.

The full answer

Security starts with design. During discovery the team identifies what data the product holds, how sensitive it is, who needs access and which regulations apply, then shapes the architecture around that: what is stored, where, for how long and with what controls.

In development, engineers validate input, use parameterised queries, apply proper authentication and session handling, keep secrets outside the codebase and address the categories in the OWASP Top 10 as a baseline. Every change is reviewed by another senior engineer before it is merged, and CI/CD pipelines run tests and scan dependencies for known vulnerabilities on each build.

Infrastructure is defined as code with Terraform, with least-privilege roles, encrypted storage, network segmentation and logging of administrative actions. Before a major release, Creuto runs vulnerability assessment and penetration testing and fixes findings by severity, with a report you can share with customers or auditors.

The lifecycle continues after launch with monitoring, patching and incident response arrangements agreed in the support plan. For clients pursuing SOC 2, ISO 27001 or sector audits, Creuto documents its controls in a form your auditors can use. Discuss your requirements on a discovery call.
