The full answer
The UAE PDPL, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, sets rules for processing personal data, including lawful grounds for processing, transparency, data subject rights, security and transfers outside the country. Free zones such as DIFC and ADGM have their own data protection regimes, so the applicable law depends on where your business operates.
We design products to collect only the data they need, record consent where it is required, let users access, correct or delete their data, and protect it with encryption and role-based access.
Many UAE clients, particularly in government, healthcare and financial services, prefer or are required to keep data in the country. The major cloud providers operate UAE regions, and we can host your product there.
Your legal adviser confirms which regime applies and any sector-specific rules. We provide the technical controls and documentation to support that assessment.
Arabic and English support, right-to-left layouts and local payment methods are often needed in the same products. We design for these alongside the data protection requirements, so the product fits both the regulation and the way UAE users expect to interact with it.
