The full answer
An evaluation set is a collection of realistic inputs with known good answers or clear scoring rules. Creuto builds one with your subject matter experts early in the project and uses it to compare prompts, models and retrieval settings objectively.
Evaluations run automatically whenever prompts, models or data pipelines change, much like a regression test suite for conventional code. If a change improves one area but breaks another, the team sees it before release.
Design choices reduce errors in the first place. Retrieval grounds answers in approved content, citations let users verify claims, and structured outputs can be checked against rules before they reach your systems. When the model is uncertain, it can be designed to say so or pass the case to a person.
After launch, Creuto monitors real usage: user feedback, escalation rates, output checks and samples reviewed by people. These signals feed back into the evaluation set, so the system gets more reliable as it is used.
No AI system is perfect, so Creuto is clear with you about expected error rates and designs the surrounding process accordingly.
