DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to build, manage, and continuously improve the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational practices that keep Creuto products running reliably at scale.

In This Role, You Will

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or CircleCI that enable fast, reliable, automated deployments.
• Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes including cluster configuration and security hardening.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability stacks using Datadog, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Design and manage secrets management, IAM policies, and security controls across all environments.
• Own database infrastructure including provisioning, backup, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Optimise cloud costs through right-sizing and reserved capacity planning.
• Respond to production incidents, conduct post-mortems, and implement preventive measures.

You Might Thrive in This Role If You

• Have 2 to 5 years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience with production systems on AWS or GCP.
• Are proficient with infrastructure-as-code and treat every manual configuration as a risk to be eliminated.
• Have strong Linux and scripting skills and can automate repetitive operational tasks quickly.
• Approach reliability proactively and design for failure rather than reacting to it.
• Are comfortable owning on-call responsibilities and responding to production issues with calm and urgency.

Bonus If You Have

Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
Experience with GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux.
Security certifications or hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and penetration testing.
