Data Scientist

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist with 2 to 5 years of experience to build models, run experiments, and generate insights that directly shape product and business decisions at Creuto. You will work across the full data science lifecycle from problem framing and data exploration through to model deployment and monitoring in production.

In This Role, You Will

• Build, validate, and deploy predictive and classification models that power product features and business decisions.
• Design and analyse A/B experiments to measure the impact of product changes and growth initiatives.
• Explore large datasets to surface patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights for product and leadership teams.
• Develop recommendation systems, ranking models, or personalisation algorithms depending on product needs.
• Collaborate with engineering to productionise models and ensure they run reliably at scale.
• Define and track model performance metrics and build monitoring systems to detect drift and degradation.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling visualisations and narratives.
• Partner with growth and product teams to identify high-value opportunities for data science applications.

You Might Thrive in This Role If You

• Have 2 to 5 years of data science experience with production models that have had measurable business impact.
• Are proficient in Python and experienced with libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, pandas, and numpy.
• Have strong SQL skills and can pull and wrangle complex data independently.
• Understand statistical fundamentals including hypothesis testing, regression, and Bayesian reasoning.
• Can communicate the story behind data clearly to audiences who do not share your technical background.

Bonus If You Have

Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Familiarity with MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring.
Knowledge of causal inference and experiment design beyond basic A/B testing.
Experience working with LLMs or generative AI in a data science context.
