Computer Vision Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to design, build, and deploy vision AI models that power product features requiring image and video understanding. You will work on real production systems and collaborate with product, backend, and AI teams to ship CV capabilities that work reliably at scale.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and train computer vision models for tasks including detection, classification, segmentation, and recognition.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for image and video data including collection, labelling, augmentation, and preprocessing.
• Deploy CV models to production systems ensuring low latency, high throughput, and reliability.
• Evaluate model performance rigorously and build benchmarks that reflect real-world usage conditions.
• Integrate vision-language models and multi-modal AI capabilities into product features.
• Optimise models for edge deployment or cost-effective cloud inference as needed.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business problems into well-defined computer vision tasks.
• Monitor deployed models for performance degradation and maintain quality over time.

You Might Thrive in This Role If You

• Have 2 to 5 years of computer vision engineering experience with production deployments.
• Are proficient in Python and experienced with PyTorch or TensorFlow for CV applications.
• Have hands-on experience with CV frameworks and libraries such as OpenCV, Torchvision, or Detectron2.
• Understand the data challenges of CV systems including class imbalance, annotation quality, and domain shift.
• Can own the full pipeline from dataset preparation through to production monitoring.

Bonus If You Have

Experience with vision-language models such as CLIP, LLaVA, or GPT-4V.
Knowledge of video understanding and temporal modelling approaches.
Experience with edge deployment on mobile or embedded devices.
Familiarity with 3D vision, depth estimation, or point cloud processing.
