AI Product Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Product Manager with 3 to 6 years of experience to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI-powered features within our products. You will work at the intersection of user needs, business goals, and AI capabilities, translating complex technical possibilities into product decisions that create real value.

In This Role, You Will

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for AI features, from opportunity identification through to successful adoption by users.
• Work closely with AI engineers, backend developers, and designers to define requirements, prioritise work, and ship AI capabilities.
• Conduct user research and analyse product data to identify where AI creates the highest value for users and the business.
• Define success metrics for AI features and build evaluation frameworks that capture both technical quality and user value.
• Write clear and precise product specifications that communicate model requirements, user flows, and edge cases to engineering teams.
• Manage tradeoffs between model quality, latency, cost, and user experience in collaboration with technical teams.
• Monitor AI feature performance in production and drive continuous improvement through data, user feedback, and experimentation.
• Collaborate with GTM, marketing, and sales teams to communicate AI capabilities to customers and drive adoption.
• Ensure AI features are built responsibly with appropriate safeguards for bias, safety, and privacy.
• Stay deeply current on the AI product landscape, competitor capabilities, and emerging use cases relevant to our domain.

You Might Thrive in This Role If You

• Have 3 to 6 years of product management experience with at least one role focused on AI or ML-powered features.
• Have a strong technical foundation that lets you engage substantively with AI engineers about model behaviour, tradeoffs, and limitations.
• Are obsessed with user problems and resist the temptation to use AI for its own sake rather than in service of real needs.
• Can synthesise ambiguous information from many sources into clear, actionable product decisions.
• Write exceptionally clearly and communicate product rationale in ways that align engineering, design, and business teams.
• Have a strong sense of AI ethics and bring thoughtful judgment to questions of safety, fairness, and responsible deployment.

Bonus If You Have

Hands-on experience writing prompts, evaluating LLM outputs, or building simple AI prototypes.
Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks, red-teaming, and responsible AI practices.
Experience with A/B testing AI features and designing evaluation benchmarks.
Background in computer science, statistics, or cognitive science.
